It’s that time of year again when we have our traditional Turkey Trot in aid of Cork Simon. This 5k race takes place on Sunday December 18 at 11am, note change of date from the original calendar. Entry costs €10 for all runners regardless of being registered or not. Everybody will be asked for their estimated 5k time at registration and the closest actual time is the winner. Watches are not allowed for obvious reasons and we won’t have a clock at the finish line to give everybody a fair chance of winning.
Registration takes place at Blackrock Hurling Club from 9.30am. The start line is quite a distance from here so we would advise getting to registration early.
We ask companies and individuals alike to bring along spot prizes which are given out as part of the post-race celebrations. It’s a lovely way to wrap up the BHAA year so we hope you can join in the fun for such a good cause.
As always, Santa outfits are optional but advised.
