** Race Postponed from Jan 5 2025 **

Unfortunately, this race is now postponed due to the yellow warning for snow and rain in Cork on Saturday and through race time on Sunday. This would put volunteers and runners at risk travelling to the race and ground conditions would be difficult for the race itself. New race date to be confirmed in due course but it will likely be after the IFF race which is on January 19th. 

The only cross country race on the Cork BHAA calendar, this race traditionally takes place early on in the year. The course is 5k over 3 laps around the fields near Beaumont Quarry. This is a good way to start the year and is a good introduction to cross-country running.

Registration from 8.30am and refreshments afterwards at Cork Constitution Club House.

Note the earlier start time of 10am from 2024.
