The results of the MTU 5k from this morning are now available in Excel / PDF. We had 379 finishers on a perfect Sunday morning and we got a chance to admire MTU’s new sports hall.
There are a small number of unknown runners who have been added as such in the result. If this is you, let me know by emailing register@corkbhaa.com. We’ve looked at the video but unfortunately can’t recognise you. ** Update ** Thanks for those who have come forward, results are now updated. Still a few unknowns though.
This was the first race that we relied solely on the new chip timing equipment and it worked well. We had asked at the start that runners do not cross their arm over the bib at the finish line to stop their watch. This interrupts the signal to the chip timing receiver and 4 runners were not picked up as a result. They have all been added back in now. Please remember to wait an extra second before you get over the line to start reaching for your watch.
