Our next race is the Cork Simon Turkey Trot which is the traditional final race of the year for us. The race takes place on Sunday December 15 at 10am in Blackrock. Registration starts from 8.30am at Blackrock Hurling Club.
Race entry is €10 for all runners with no distinction made between registered and non-registered. For those who have not done this previously, we will also ask you to estimate your 5k time when you enter the race at Blackrock Hurling Club. Nearest actual time to estimated time is the winner. Please have your 5k time ready to help speed up the entry process.
As with other years, all proceeds go to Cork Simon who do wonderful work throughout the year and especially at Christmas. We ask that companies bring along spot prizes on race day which will be given out at the prize-giving afte the race.
Christmas outfits are very welcome and helps to lift the festive spirit at the pre-race sing-song!
