In 2012, Cork BHAA celebrates 30 years in sport. The Business Houses Athletic Association is an organisation which promotes a calendar of road races, throughout the year, in Cork. Membership is open to all people in employment on payment of a €10 registration fee. Races cost €5 for registered members and €10 for non registered athletes.
Race results are categorised by age and gender. There are prizes for winners in each category, and a number of spot prizes are also presented. Cork BHAA prides itself on catering for every runner.
Membership
There are many good reasons to join the BHAA. It’s relatively cheap, every course is acurately measured, all races are of good quality and are well varied, and all standards are catered for. It is also a great way to meet your work colleagues in a social setting. Everyone is equal in importance to the BHAA, from the fun-runner to the Olympian!
The race calander is wide and varied and includes everything from Cross Country to long distance road races.
