The results of the Depuy Synthes 4 mile race from this evening are now available in Excel / PDF. We had 350 entries this year on a fine sunny evening in Ringaskiddy; this was at least a 100 up on previous years. The race organisers chose Crann as their charity this year with over €2000 raised from generous contributions.
A minute’s silence was held before the race in memory of Dermot Bates who passed away suddenly this week. Friends and BHAA runners have posted kind words on the post on Facebook with one remembering how Dermot used to post the results out after races before the internet was widely available.
First man over the line tonight was Gavin O’Rourke in a time of 20:20 with Michelle Kenny the first woman in a time of 22:52. See pictures below with more to follow on our Facebook page.
